ASHES

Ashes is an original, devised theatrical piece created by the Circle Squared Collective that is an exploration of loss, grief, and hope in a post 9/11 world. Utilizing a technique called "Moment Work," which was established by the Tectonic Theater Project (creators of The Laramie Project), the show's creative process works to explore how we handle loss and grief. Starting with the ancient tale of Pandora, the C2C seeks to understand if by trapping Hope in her mythological Box, is Hope kept from humanity or does Hope remain...

Ashes concludes a trilogy of theatre-making that began with Embers in 2014 and continued with Smoke in 2017 bringing the Fire-Cycle plays to an end. This show also marks the final performance in our brick and mortar storefront theater in Montebello, California.
